Week 31 Let’s Explore The Big World of Animals

April 7, 2024 No Comments

Children love to explore living things and animals are especially exciting because of the ways they move, communicate and interact. Our world is filled with amazing animals for students to learn about and these two resources are just what you will need to provide meaningful cross curricular activities for your class. They contain informational text, crafts, real life photos, research support and literature. Take a peek at all they have to offer.

Resources for 5 animal groups…mammals, fish, birds, amphibians and reptiles. You will love some of the fun facts provided. Buy the bundle and SAVE 20%.

This one topic will help you explore what each of the groups looks like in relating to activities. I love the vocabulary, informational text, activities for research and many cross curricular activities.

Your class will love reading about an animal from each of the 5 groups shared above. These wonderful stories by Eric Carle may be fiction but they are filled with opportunities for students to gather facts and practice curriculum skills. Ideal for Guided Reading.

I’m Michele a retired educator who loved every minute of being in the classroom and creating an environment where students loved coming and materials were presented that inspired learning. After retirement 5 years ago I knew I wanted to stay connected to the classroom and education. I began pulling my materials together and creating resources for TpT. I hope you will peek at them!! Together my husband and I have raised three amazing sons who now are busy beginning families of their own. To date I only have one grandson but he is such a joy! My husband, miniature dachshund Rubee, and I love being on the water, boating and walking outside. So if you see sunglasses you know where we are!! Together we spend time at our lake house in Michigan and our winter home in Florida. We are creating so many wonderful memories.
