How well are your students listening and comprehending what you are reading in the classroom? This resource not only will provide activities to practice comprehension but include literature suggestions and lessons. Wonderful practice for when it comes to individual reading and then sharing comprehension. Your class will become familiar with cause/effect, summary, sequence, predict, story elements and more. Take a peek at this beneficial resource. It also encourages using text to find the information.

Word Searches are ideal for building reading strategies and the Mini Readers are wonderful for early readers.

I LOVE this February Phonics Resource with practice using BOSSY R! It has a MAIL theme to fit with sending cards on Valentine’s Day.

Each of the sounds (ar, er, ir, or, ur) have a mailbox and letters to mail with pictures to the correct box.

The second activity includes matching the front of the envelope (picture) to the back of the envelope (word) and then mail them to the correct box.

Finally there are practice pages for writing and sorting that can be used as assessment or individual practice.
