This is a comprehensive writing resource. There are four lessons included. Each lesson includes lesson suggestions, a mini grammar lesson (November focuses on nouns, plural nouns and proper nouns)with encouragement to focus on this strategy in their writing, a literature suggestion to motivate and engage students, graphic organizers for idea gathering, paragraph organizers for developing a strong paragraph, editing suggestions, class cover and final write pages. Many of the items are differentiated to meet the needs of every level student.
This resource includes two lessons to encourage and showcase writing. Each lesson includes a page topper craft to include on student writing page. These are ideal for a bulletin board or decorating a hallway.
This resource is an ideal “how to” writing lesson. Included are activities for a center so students can talk and retell before writing. There are organizers for gathering facts and organizing their thoughts.
