Camp Themed Day

Gather round the “campfire”, bring a flashlight and let’s spend the day reading, writing and working with words all with CAMP theme! Take a peek!

I love the Campfire cuties for creating bulletin board. There is also a parent letter describing the day. I like to send home a s’more treat. If you have a microwave or an oven at school you can spread graham crackers, sprinkle with chocolate chips and then marshmallows. Mmmmmmmm! After the treat write about making s’mores.
Vocabulary is always added to each resource and followed by plenty of word work activities. (Syllables not shown) Informational text about camping is provided and materials for students to create their own flip book. They can also make a list, write a scary story to read around the campfire and then ask/tell.
There are differentiated writing opportunities and even math with data collection and four math games. Enough activities for each subject area. So much fun!
