What a fabulous Author and Illustrator. I love that his characters and stories speak to personality traits. Wemberly is worried. Lilly is exuberant. Sheila Rae is brave. Chester makes a friend and discovers they are alike yet different. Have fun exploring the author himself and his delightful stories and characters.
Lilly is adorable and one of my favorites stories is about her brand new Purple Plastic Purse. Kevin Henkes does a delightful job describing Lilly and all the emotions that accompany her day at school with the purse.
