There is an adorable Froggy craft for your students to create. I like to have pieces cut out ahead of time for younger students so all they have to do is listen, pay attention and create Froggy. In the story Froggy practiced writing his name. The students will practice writing their own. There are both penmanship lines and flat lines available to choose from. I love posting vocabulary where I place the book. Together go over the words with the class then choose a word work activity. Another activity I love is the data collection. I like to pair up the paper pencil resource with these Google Slides. For younger students they are a little difficult because it involves typing but for older students they are perfect. In my classroom I used them as discussion strategies on the SMART board. They can also be done with parents at home for those students wishing to complete them. Easy to send!!
