Week 35 Reading and Writing Tales

We are all storytellers! Helping students to tell their stories is very important for their social, emotional and cognitive development. Telling stories also encourages communication and literacy development. Your class will love these two resources that share tales and encourage students to write their own tales using tall tales, fractured tales and fairy tales.

Add a little twist to your Fairy Tale Unit with these eight delightful Fractured Fairy Tales.

Many tales have a dragon! Check out this delightful Old Lady story for FREE.

When teaching about the different genres with the primary child Tall Tales are always so much fun. In this mini unit the children will meet Pecos Bill, John Henry, Annie Oakley, and Paul Bunyan.
