For many of us when we think of insects we think… icky, scratchy, noisy, annoying BUGS! But if you really look closely insects are very interesting!! After your study the class will BUG you for MORE!! Bundle and SAVE 20%.

Your class will find that insects are interesting as they work through this packet. The study begins by identifying the characteristics of insects and enjoying some interesting facts.

Eric Carle author study with some of your favorite titles on insects. His stories are perfect for enjoying a wonderful story line while finding facts in fiction. Each of the 4 stories contain vocabulary for posting, word work activities for your Literacy Center, comprehension activities for Guided Reading, informational text in the form of a mini book, paragraph organizers and final write pages as well as an adorable craft. Wonderful book companions for an insect study.

Students love learning about animals and as an educator I find they are perfect to use as a springboard for teaching key standards.  So let’s explore insects together. This is very focused for research.

A wonderful way to begin Spring with a study of butterflies and the fascinating process of metamorphosis.

I’m Michele a retired educator who loved every minute of being in the classroom and creating an environment where students loved coming and materials were presented that inspired learning. After retirement 5 years ago I knew I wanted to stay connected to the classroom and education. I began pulling my materials together and creating resources for TpT. I hope you will peek at them!! Together my husband and I have raised three amazing sons who now are busy beginning families of their own. To date I only have one grandson but he is such a joy! My husband, miniature dachshund Rubee, and I love being on the water, boating and walking outside. So if you see sunglasses you know where we are!! Together we spend time at our lake house in Michigan and our winter home in Florida. We are creating so many wonderful memories.
