Morning Greeting for September

August 18, 2022 No Comments

Greeting the students each morning personally is important but having a visual posted up front is important as well.

These Morning Greeting Slides are perfect visuals for your class.

There are three forms available in the resource.

First there are Interactive Google Slides:

Good Morning: Use the text box to put the schedule, welcome, them of day or whatever you want the students to know. Lunch counts can also be put on this slide.

Calendar: Add the date. Include student birthdays for the month and special events as well.

Weather: Data collection can be used to do math. At the end of the month. How many of each? Which were there more to and which less…how many? Click and drag to create the data chart.

Temperature: Add the temperature each day. Again more math. Warmer, colder…how many degrees?

Daily Record Sheets for students: There are matching black and white printable pages for students to follow along. Students record number of days using tallies, money, words and decide if the number is odd or even.

Student of the Week: Send home via email for student to complete and return. This student might be your meteorologist for the week.

PDF Pages are also available as well as the printable black and white paper pencil.

I’m Michele a retired educator who loved every minute of being in the classroom and creating an environment where students loved coming and materials were presented that inspired learning. After retirement 5 years ago I knew I wanted to stay connected to the classroom and education. I began pulling my materials together and creating resources for TpT. I hope you will peek at them!! Together my husband and I have raised three amazing sons who now are busy beginning families of their own. To date I only have one grandson but he is such a joy! My husband, miniature dachshund Rubee, and I love being on the water, boating and walking outside. So if you see sunglasses you know where we are!! Together we spend time at our lake house in Michigan and our winter home in Florida. We are creating so many wonderful memories.
