Week Nineteen Exploring Polar and Arctic Animal Life with Text, Reporting and Fiction

December 2, 2023 No Comments

Who might we find living in this frozen tundra with ice, snow and water? Your class will love exploring and discovering how animals survive this frozen habitat.

In this amazing BUNDLE you will find all the resources you need for this exploration and SAVE 20%. There are Book Companions as well as Informative Resources with real life pictures and research activities for the primary student.

Your class will love exploring the North and South Poles. (Arctic/Antarctica) Brrrrr… This packet’s main focus is using Informational Text to gather details and report. These skills meet several standards required for students. Fiction stories are also suggested that your class will LOVE reading and listening to.

It is cold in the Arctic and on the tundra the cold winds blow. But Cozy is warm with his long thick fur. This story is wonderful as it introduces arctic animals as well as a theme of kindness that Cozy was willing to share.

This resource is filled with informational text and life pictures of polar bears. Perfect for primary research and reading non fiction text.

This resource is filled with activities to accompany the story by Jan Brett … The Three Snow Bears!! There is information to be learned even through fiction stories.

Dress in black and white, create the headbands and you will have a wonderful day with your students exploring penguins.

I love this odd little penguin and the message the story shares. This packet is ideal for allowing students to make choices of activities they wish to complete allowing for independence and differentiation.

I’m Michele a retired educator who loved every minute of being in the classroom and creating an environment where students loved coming and materials were presented that inspired learning. After retirement 5 years ago I knew I wanted to stay connected to the classroom and education. I began pulling my materials together and creating resources for TpT. I hope you will peek at them!! Together my husband and I have raised three amazing sons who now are busy beginning families of their own. To date I only have one grandson but he is such a joy! My husband, miniature dachshund Rubee, and I love being on the water, boating and walking outside. So if you see sunglasses you know where we are!! Together we spend time at our lake house in Michigan and our winter home in Florida. We are creating so many wonderful memories.
