Fall into Autumn… September 22nd

September 18, 2022 No Comments

I don’t know how but summer is coming to a close and Autumn is here. For many of us this change is noticeable because the temperature cools, colors change and leaves begin to fall. For all of us we begin to see pumpkins and smell pumpkin spice. Yep those are signs of fall. No matter where you live learning about the changes to this new season are important AND this is a perfect way to embed some science into your literacy lessons. Students will read, write and work with words related to fall. They will also learn about the life cycle of an apple tree. There is vocabulary for posting and also wonderful suggested literature with activities to follow. There is also an adorable craft for decorating your classroom. Leaves, Red Leaf Yellow Leaf, Going on a Leaf Hunt, Why Leaves Change Color

I’m Michele a retired educator who loved every minute of being in the classroom and creating an environment where students loved coming and materials were presented that inspired learning. After retirement 5 years ago I knew I wanted to stay connected to the classroom and education. I began pulling my materials together and creating resources for TpT. I hope you will peek at them!! Together my husband and I have raised three amazing sons who now are busy beginning families of their own. To date I only have one grandson but he is such a joy! My husband, miniature dachshund Rubee, and I love being on the water, boating and walking outside. So if you see sunglasses you know where we are!! Together we spend time at our lake house in Michigan and our winter home in Florida. We are creating so many wonderful memories.
