This math resource will be perfect for the month of January. It is designed to build fact fluency with sums 9 to 12. Students will build snowmen with the correct facts. Mix up the facts, place a sum on the snowman head and students will build away. I like to add a timer in the center for those students trying to increase their fluency. The second center encourages dressing a snowman by rolling facts that equal the sum of the item to dress the snowman. Both can be partner games or played independently. There are also math games and practice activities to follow up the work done in the centers.
