Pizza for breakfast, sugary breakfast cereal, piggyback rides, late night movies and more. Your class can enjoy a YES DAY as well! This resource is perfect for the end of the year or a class choice day. A day or two before the story have children brainstorm ideas of what they’d like to do if the teacher said YES! (I have prepared a list of suggestions for you. Create a YES container and put all the ideas in the container. On YES Day students will decorate headband, listen to the adorable story, complete recall and sequencing activities about the story, and then celebrate a YES DAY at school. Every half hour to hour one of the choices is drawn and the answer will be YES! While waiting for the activity there are plenty of games and activities to keep your class busy.
